Sean Engelbrecht

With 17 years’ experience in the Financial Industries Group, Sean as a Co-Owner of 1FinPlan, is a recognized provider of asset and wealth management services to small and middle size corporates in Southern Africa. He leads the banking initiative in Africa for clients in the area of Clean Energy and Financials, advisory, debt and equity financing for Edrich llc. Edrich llc is a boutique merchant-banking firm that practices old-fashioned relationship banking and is a registered entity in New York and Barcelona. The firm was founded in 2005 as a Hedge Fund making both public and private investments. As a registered SEC firm in the United States, in 2008 the company returned capital to investors with an audited positive return of 14.4 percent over three years. From 2009 the firm focused its efforts on providing merchant banking and asset management services to clients and high net worth family offices in Clean Energy, Financials Services and Related technologies. Sean graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2000 and entered the Financial Services industry in 2001. During the past two years he has worked on downstream gas distribution clients, upstream exploration clients and bio-fuels wood pellet producers exclusively with Edrich, New York. Sean travels frequently to New York with South African clients and is well versed with Wall Street.
