With 20 years of independent financial planning and financial management experience, Riaan has had exposure to many different business models over the years. Co-Founder of 1FINPLAN, a leading financial service provider in Southern Africa, Riaan has also been part of an exclusive partnership with Cawood Attorneys in forming the Chapter 6 Distressed Funding Committee assisting corporates that has been placed under business rescue. Riaan is a valued member of our team as a successful entrepreneur, “out of the box” problem solver with a passion for businesses.
Sean Engelbrecht
Co-Founder | Team Member | Financial Management | Investment
With 17 years’ experience in the Financial Industries Group, Sean as a Co-Owner of 1FinPlan, is a recognized provider of asset and wealth management services to small and middle size corporates in Southern Africa. He leads the banking initiative in Africa for clients in the area of Clean Energy and Financials, advisory, debt and equity financing for Edrich llc. During the past two years he has worked on downstream gas distribution clients, upstream exploration clients and bio-fuels wood pellet producers exclusively with Edrich, New York. Sean travels frequently to New York with South African clients and is well versed with Wall Street.
Robert Foster

With 26 years of advisory, investment and business management experience Robert brings a unique perspective to CBH. Having started and managed many successful businesses and worked with 100’s of business leaders as clients and mentors, Robert provides innovative thinking to complex problems and then provides and implements appropriate solutions. Having worked with many of the top private equity and alternative asset managers in South Africa he understands what risk management investors require when allocating capital to private company investments. Robert is a champion for fairness and believes in the power of the collective to solve complex problems.
